Cory Kashul
Co-Founder
Cory is a native of Naperville, Illinois and has been playing in hockey since a young age. Currently a freshman at Norwich University studying Business Management and Accounting. As a co-founder of the league, his goal is to provide players with a space to develop their skills against the best possible summer competition, but also create a culture and a community inside the league. Outside of hockey, Cory enjoys traveling and attending concerts, always seeking new experiences. What began as a passion project for the game has grown into a commitment to building a strong, culture-driven environment.

kyle kudrna
Co-Founder
Kyle is a resident of Bartlett, Illinois and has been part of the Illinois hockey community for 20 years. A sophomore at Norwich University studying architecture, he brings a disciplined, detail-oriented mindset to the league itself. He co-founded the summer league to challenge himself during the off-season and provide a competitive environment for players to grow physically and mentally. In his free time, Kyle enjoys golf and traveling, embracing new challenges both on and off the ice. What began as a personal pursuit has grown into a commitment to helping others reach their full potential while giving back to the hockey community.

Jeremy Szczurek
Senior Advisor and Coordinator of Women's League
Jeremy is the founder of First Shift Hockey, a Chicago-based player-development organization focused on building skills, hockey IQ, and competitive culture. A lifelong player and former collegiate captain, Jeremy brings a disciplined, detail-oriented approach to training. Through First Shift Hockey, he offers private lessons, small-group sessions, and camps that emphasize skating, puck skills, and mental toughness. Jeremy is now partnering with our league to bring his expertise directly to our players and staff, helping them grow both on and off the ice, and is also the director of our women's league.
